PRACTICAL APPLICATION DURING TRAINING
Application is often the point where a seminar ends, and the participants are left alone in everyday life. With Interpersonal Skills LAB, the trainer facilitates behavioral changes throughout the training. Thanks to repeatability, behavior measurement and direct practical relevance, the human factor becomes instantly apparent and the training participants leave the LAB with tried and tested behavioral patterns.

ACTION ORIENTATION THROUGH SIMULATION
The training participants dive into the space scenario via a real-time computer simulation. In contrast to many role-playing scenarios, participants pursue real goals that they really want to achieve. The task is handled from different perspectives and requires precise communication and efficient cooperation. This setting ensures constant intensive interaction and participants immediately display their authentic behavior patterns. As a result, the trainer can start directly with the right topic. PRACTICAL AND TRANSFER-ORIENTED
LAB-based training is digital, agile, action-oriented and provides laboratory conditions: The participants experimentally develop their behavioral optimizations under demanding conditions from practical experience. As in a laboratory, trainers can repeat the experiments until the desired results are achieved. At the same time, the participants learn from the consequences of their own decisions. All situations and actions in the fictitious scenarios have a direct counterpart in the real working world. This accelerates learning transfer, which is constantly at the foreground during a training measure.

BEHAVIORAL MEASUREMENT
Behavioral measurement makes Interpersonal Skills LAB a uniquely powerful tool for soft skills training. Through objective feedback, the consequences of behavioral optimization become strikingly clear. The LAB measures dimensions that have a significant influence on cooperation. Trainers can interpret these measurements very easily and thereby continuously assess the overall performance of the individual teams.

Human Error Module
With the Human Error Module, the influence of external conditions such as time pressure, complexity or information overload on human behavior is experienced. When training safety-oriented behavior, various behaviors can be practiced, which help prevent serious errors. The error categories assessed are those developed by Professor James Reason (slips, lapses, mistakes and violations).
Leadership Module
The Leadership Module extends the typical LAB application (self-organizing teams of 4) by including an additional leadership level. A fifth person acts as a leader who is tasked with helping the team to top performance. From this position, the leader must filter the flood of information and use it to make decisions. However, this person cannot intervene operationally but can only influence the team verbally. Interpersonal Skills LAB combines the action orientation of outdoor training and the measurement precision of a personality profile with the repeatability of a simulator and the fun factor of a computer game. Moreover, the LAB has the operational reliability of a board game.
